Issues in Idaho

Economic Development – Ryan Kerby will work to promote Idaho products and help to create a better economy by working to keep the tax structure in Idaho fair, predictable, and low, and by modifying business tax incentives so they will better help counties with high unemployment and low per capita income. He believes in doing everything possible to support our local businesses so that they can be competitive in the world market place.

Natural Resources and Agriculture – As a son of a dairyman, Ryan knows the strength of Idaho is in its natural resource and agricultural base. He will continue to support our farmers and ranchers by keeping the government out of their lives, and creating new jobs through exploration of innovative techniques to better utilize our natural resources. To increase timber jobs, Ryan will fight to help Idaho get ownership andmanagement of the Payette National Forest.

Workforce Development – To grow the economy Idaho must educate and retain a skilled workforce. As an educator, Ryan Kerby has been facilitating these goals through workforce development in schools. Idaho must follow Ryan’s lead, and continue to improve our education system so the next generation of Idahoans will significantly increase Idaho’s economic standing in America.

10th Amendment10th Amendment – The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Ryan is a firm believer in the U.S. Constitution and will work to protect States Rights and the rights of individual citizens. He will work to limit the federal intrusion on our lives while demanding that the federal government respects state and local primacy on issues that are important to Idahoans.
